HTML and MIME relate as follows. HTML is to be proposed as aMIME
text/html type. This is not only a Good Thing as you note, it also
is essential as the full HTTP protocol send back a MIME message.
That is, it uses RFC822 fields for its headings including the
Content-type field.
Yes, it would be very nice to send HTML mail to people!
